These are a couple of pictures of some concrete sample racks I welded up.
The samples are 5"x5"x1.5" a piece and 2.5 pounds in weight.
I was sick of having them just take up table space.
I set up a fixture, cocked a piece of 3/4 angle just so that the samples would lean back with gravity, and stay put.
The eye opening part was when I primed and spray finish painted the racks.
They looked waaaaaaay better than I imagined.
I guess I felt what I cobbled together didn't rate a good finish...(I've been waxing everything I've made)
It makes a WORLD of difference to actually tighten up the project with finish paint... Duh, where have I been all of my life?![]()
