    Default miller blue star 2e

    i have a miller bluestar 2e dc welder it worked fine except it was leaking gas from the carb so i took it apart and put it back together ,i fixed the leak but do not know the settings ,does anyone have a parts breakdown for the carborator and what the settings would be so i can get it to run properly any help would be appreiciated

    I don't have a break-down handy but a typical starting point on mixture settings is usually 1-1/2 turns out from seated on both idle and main jet adjustments and go from there with the unit running.

    is the main jet setting the spring loaded needle valve on the bottom of the float bowl?

    Smile miller bluestar 2e

    yes i just also bought a miller bluestar 2e ac/dc ive seen a bunch or heard of a bunch with blown motors with the Techumseh engine and was wondering if they r good welders and if i bought a good welder or a peice of junk thats goin to blow in three weeks i have welded with it and welds good but was just wondering if the motors r junk or not thanks
