Default Same as a pipeliner 200d

The owners manual I down loaded does not have much info in it.
Would the Pipeliner 200D be the same as far as weight (within reason), min & max output and the duty cycle chart?
The advertising hype sounds like the SA-200 is the same as the Pipeliner 200D.
The PL 200D weight is listed as 1300lbs. Those Kubota engines are real small prolly about the same as a F163.
Anybody have any thoughts about the differences between the two welders.
    Thank you,
    Bob

    Default Fenders

    deafman,
The fenders are not a real problem. Looks like someome rolled some 10 ga. and added the chrome moly galvanized water pipe for brackets. You see some of the patches in the one picture.
The axle is dropped. The wheel look to be original, black with a pinstripe, and have the Lincoln hubcaps on them.
I believe the axle and the tongue are factory items.
There is a real good chance I'll buy it, I need to freshen up my signature.
    If not ...

The only way to know for sure if its worth it to you is to buy it. I would probably buy it if it was cheap enough, if I needed one it would be another matter. One could always wait till there is an upswing in demand and sell the thing, I sold one a while back for a good bit more than I paid for it. I bought it on a whim at an auction mainly for the leads, I was short a couple long heavy pieces I lost in a fire and copper was sky high, wanted them in case I had to do pipe thaws, kept from scrounging everything together for long runs. Personally if I was headed for the piping biz I would be leaning toward something like a 305 mainly due to it being less than half the weight if I didn't already have a 200. I also like the AC power but it probably isn't a big deal in that case.
Just a personal take on it.

    Default Toy

Like I said it will be just a toy, I would not sell it. And if I ever did I'd have give my friend half the profit, though I don't he would pay half the loss I might have to take.

Thanks guys keep your comments comming. I appreciate all your help.

If you do buy it, I highly suggest you call Mrs Shirley Cable 318-281-1833 and buy one of her remotes.

There that ought to do it.

200D is a different critter. The sa-200 weighs around 1350. The 200D turns at 1800.

Did you decide to get it after all? Or are you just gonna wait it out for a bit?

Sammy, I'm probably going to get it. I'm giving Frank enough time to find out what it is worth on his terms.
Either way I'll post to let you know what happened. I think deafman would like to know also.
    So wish me good luck,
    Bob
