I just built myself a welding table and need some wheels trhat will lock down good.........any suggestions?

Northern Tool has a pretty decent selection of wheels and castors, many in the locking variety.
Sometimes there's no second chances.

make some provision for screw down feet, prevent castors from pivoting.

I get casters from the local hardware stores
or any of the big box building materials stores.
They all seem to be adequate.
When you go (if you do) double check that what
you pull out of the bin is what you want - they tend
to get mixed up a lot.
