I have been working on a roughneck 1e sn HG066412, motor model number K3015, sn 7477488. I have read several of the postings and they have help me to get this unit running. But I have one wire that has stumped me. This wire comes from under the shroud of the fly wheel and I don't know what it connects to. Can you help? Ben

If the wire comes from under the flywheel, it probably comes from the points.
It might go to the switch or the coil. I had one 20 years ago, and can't remember.
So just a guess on my part.
