more stuff, scratched floor, surgery&bandaids, new tools and piles of junk&steel.
Thanks for all the kind words guys. I had a good laugh this morning!
The shop floor is not holding up well, after dragging my table saw around for the last two years (since I painted the floor) and welding sparks, grinding, and projects- its starting to show through so this coming summer its going to have to be done again. Maybe this time I'll use a real floor finish. A two part epoxy, but then again.... whats the point. Molten steel doesnt care if the floor is bare or painted, its still going to eat through it. There are a couple of spots where the molten puddles left a good impression.
The pile of scrap steel is out side. One pile in the driveway blocking the way and the other pile at the side of the house stopping the local kids from using my yard as a cut through. Blame the tire on the wife. she has yet to move it since she put new tires on her jeep..
I really hope i never have to clean up a red spot on the floor. the shop may be relatively clean from your POV, but there is nothing worse than a day "cut" short.
I think that im going to have to build some sort of rig to keep the plasma and the 250 in one spot an over/under style cart. that way i gain back a little floor space.
My problem is that I need this humble space to do my paying jobs as much as I need it to do my playing jobs. If only I could find that balance.. it seems to be one or the other.
Thanks for the great replies you guys.
Can I borrow somebodies coounterspace??

I was weathered off my intended job and spent the morning picking up, what a huge psychological difference.
