Got bored today and decided that it was time to take care of some issues that i seem to have with both of my hoods (even though i hardly ever use the speedglass hood anymore). welding in the booths at school (llucky for me they have continued the journeyman training day program for all of us that are still on the bench) it drives me nuts when i get the the light from the weld up from the bottom of the hood, and from sparks getting in my ear. so i took and old leather coat and some velcro and super glue from the local crafts store and solved my problem. nothing is permanant to the hood so if i decide i don't like it, i can pull it off and no damage to the hood.
