    Default Clean Air

Is there an air mask, respirator or air make-up system that works well with a welding helmet? I've tried the particle mask (don't know that that helps much anyway), I have a carbon filter paint respirator but it's too bulky. Also anything I wear fogs up my glasses. I haven't had much success with helmet lenses to get the glasses out of the way either. (I don't want to have to remove glasses & put them back on every time I weld if I can help it). Maybe an air make-up system that would pump fresh air into the helmet to purge welding air out?
Seems like anytime I do any amount of welding lately it irritates my throat. I'm taking that as I sign I better do something about it.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions. What works for you.

Depending on your application, this is a quality alternative as well:

The 3M half mask double filter respirator works good under my Jackson hoods. I use the pink 2191 (or whatever the number is) filters for welding galvanized and they work great.

3M 7502 respirator works excellent with P100 2097 filters. You will like it.

Thanks for the replies. I'll check into the 3M mask.
