Ji,
yeah- whatever is needed- in the pic you can see the end is a tighter scroll/bend so I used a jig like yours- 'ceptin I welded 2 small pieces of Pipe on to a piece of angle and worked the scroll shape in it.
Needed a gradual bend so I experimented with the 4" Pipe.
The Mrs. made this little Firepit and the scrolled feet were bent this way.

Great work Ed.
I just love scroll work and I am amazed at how few people do it.
It can be so simple.

I use the same idea as Broc - but I have the stop on one piece of angle, and then 1", 2", 3" .... pipes on their own angles. I pick the right size pipe, place it in the vise with the stop piece, angles back to back, and adjust the stop gap between for the material I'm bending. Universal bending system from a few feet of angle and some pipe offcuts.

Hey Ed, that is the best firepit I've seen thus far. I like home made looking and that is definately it. Where is that thread where she describes how she did it?
If she didn't put that thread up then have Jigantor call her and explain how easy that is
And how much us dummies love the step by step directions
