I've been watching the Olympic bobsleding and was wondering what the sleds were made out of. I was thinking the shell is carbon fiber and steel, maybe chrome moly ? May be Andy might know, being the sleds are build in the Nascar area. Thanks

Yes,
Carbon Fiber and other composites.
I know the guy that works with them is Geoff Bodine, an ex stock car racer.
His organization is call Bo-Dyn Bobsled.
