Clamps

I searched this one already so I hope it hasn't been posted a billion times already, but I was looking for a source for tube/pipe clamps. I wanted to weld up a longboard rack for my mountain bike out of some tubing that could be removed using some split clamps, but I can't seem to find the ones I'm looking for. They basically look like a piston rod end with one bolt one each side, but are made out of some split tubing. Does anyone have any idea where I might find these?

These are from MSC, but Grainger, or McMaster would have them.

Maybe some Hydraulic pipe supports would work, They are cheaper, and vibration isolators.

Thanks, that's pretty much what I'm looking for, I wanted something I would be able to weld some tubing to for a surfboard rack that I can clamp to the aluminum frame on my mountain bike kinda like this:

Mcmaster is less than half the price of the one you linked to on ebay.

I would not recomment clamping to the aluminum frame unless you actually MUST, you could run the risk of crimping the tube slightly and weakening it. There should be some threaded holes located near the seat close to where the brake is typically and there should be some extra holes down around where the tabs were the rear wheel mounts. The example rack you posted attaches at these came spots. If your bike does not have these then I could see a reason to clamp to it.

Many years ago I built a rack for a mountain bike to hold a compound bow so I could ride down to the archery range. I did it once, it was such a large sail (bow in a case) that it made it hard to ride if there was any breeze, and I gave up and never used it again.
