    6pakdakota great job!

These brush guards aren’t for me, just not my taste, but I do appreciate what it takes to build one.

How did you bend the pipe that I have a red arrow pointing to? Did you use a mandrel bender, or fill with sand? What type of material did you use?
My hydraulic conduit bender will kink anything I’ve tried to date to bend that far past 90°.

thanks, i built this using 1.75" x .120" wall DOM, and 1" x .120" wall DOM. i bent the 1" tube in a hossfeld tube bender. it will bend 180 degrees with no problems

Nice looking brush guard. I bet Tiger Woods wish he had one on his SUV. How did you mount it? I bet that was the toughest part of the project.

thanks. i made two brackets that mount to the frame with 1 1/2" DOM stubs sticking thru the front bumper. then two 1 3/4 stubs on the brush guard slip over the 1 1/2 tubes and are thru bolted.
