end up using some angle and put a 8mm spacer under one side of the angle. some the V is over 90 degrees. hopfully its enough to do 8mm do you think it will do 8mm the way i made it?

Go to www.northerntool.com & do a search for press brake which will show you pics of what you can buy. Should give you some ideas.

Sure you can make what you need. It may not last as long from being used and will get some marks in it but you can rework it...Bob

will it finished the press brake off. works awesome. tryed to bend some 5mmx about 300-400mm wide flat bar, got it to bend a little bit but then i stoped as the lower dies where turning into a banana

so far ive bend 5x100mm no problems, 3mm x about 250 no problems.
also too it will bend way last 90* which is a good thing i guess
i am thinking about making some differnt lower dies for when i want to bend some heavy section. just got to work out a design
