Why in **** should someone be at least 18 yrs old to be eligible! I'm 16 and I can weld better than my former metals teacher!!!!!

Just put it in your parents name or shop teachers. The law won't say anything about that. They won't know who your teacher or parents give it to if they win. I'm glad to see someone young trying a trade. Hardly anyone does anymore. Keep at it
