I was asked to quote building a cab for a John Deere utility tractor. The guy pushes snow with it, spends 10-13 hrs at a time.
This is not what I like doing but money is money, anyway my thoughts are, build a frame out of 1x1 sq. tube 1/16 wall, four sides, 1 removeable door.
Sides covered with 1/8 polycarbinate, roof panel 18 ga. steel.
The sides need to follow the contour of the rear fenders, but I am not sure how to bend the sq. tubing.
Any ideas?
thanks, Tim.

You will need a tubing bender with a die for square tube.
Another option is to use pre-fabbed elbows.
Here is a link to a supplier of square elbows. http://www.quickfab.ca/

Thank you for your response. The bend will be pretty large, maybe something for a ring roller?
