    Default TIG filler pvc storage

guys, a while back, 3 months or more, i seen somewhere on this site, someone had made tig filler storage bins out of pvc pipe, with a threaded top cap.
i searched and could not find it.

does anyone know who posted those pics, of have pics of your tig storage ?

i really liked the pvc with the threaded top cap.

    Default Rod Storage

"Rod-Guard" makes 36" long storage containers with a threaded cap for around $11.00. They also make 14" for SMAW electrodes, for around $7.00

Can be bought on line, or locally.

You could make your own, but by the time you bought the material, you've got that much or more invested.

Duane did a nice job. I like the way he put the joint toward the bottom, so used pieces don't get lost in the tube.

Here is a pic of my tig unit with the PVC tubes, I have 22 tubes in all that hold all my different types and sizes.

Its best to keep them dry and seales away from dust and the occassional over spray.

Because I take my tig on portable jobs and just plug it into my Pipe Pro aux. power I like being able to carry 8 tubes with the unit.
