I was at a neighbors the other day and he had a hanger over his welding bottle. He had bought it at a farm show. When I seen it I could hardly waite to get home and make one. His had about six hooks and the one I made only has four. Anyway I thought it was very clever and thought I would pass it on.

It looks like a bottle of argon or argon/mix, which is an inert gas and isn't flammable, but you still have to watch out not to puncture the bottle because of high pressure. Looks neat though. What did you use to bend the shapes?

Cables are only hung on the hooks after the machine is turned off. The thing was made in a vise and a piece of rail road iron. I welded it together on the floor and on the bench and not on the bottle. Had to hook and unhook the gas to the bottle a couple of times to test the fit. No welding was done on the tank. And again the cables are not hung up until the machine is turned off.
