I got to agree, there's nothing quite like the dynasty series, especially having the 200DX with it's 115v ability and it's compact size just as fusionking said.
When i buy tools that are expensive i try and spend the extra to get one i won't look back on and say
"i wish i would have sprung for such and such"
I've put my 200DX through it's paces indoors, outdoors, on generators and every wall outlet type except three phase and it just hooks up and performs flawlessly
And just like with the DX, i got a hypertherm powermax45 plasma last night and it's a dream as well... weird that it's only 45 amps though and can't run on the same power as the dynasty *scratches head*
wait until you've learned the features on the DX, then you'll really be in love!Dynasty 200DX

I had to go help a neighbor set up his new 200 syncrowave not all that long ago and I actually felt sorry for him

But he was getting into a bit of competition for me so when I looked at it that way I was also sorta glad he chose that one.
When you buy the best you only cry once.
Not trying to make 200 syncrowave users upset just saying there is a very noticable difference between how these 2 machines form a puddle...you know it the instant you strike an arc!
Hard to believe it packs so much punch in such a small package.Miller Dynasty 700...OH YEA BABY!!

YES INDEED..... A shop i get some metal from and borrow some machining services or tools that are beyond my tools ability has a sync 200 and they are paying me to teach one of their guys to run it, well, as you said, it's a whole different beast... I could weld with it, but the new guy i'm teaching can't...yet when i teach some one on my dynasty 200dx, anyone intelegent enough to listen to me is laying decent starter beads in about 20 minutes... the guy i know has spent about 5-6 hours on the sync 200 and still can't get it to work for him, but he can weld on my dynasty..funny thing but inverter machines do make a better weldor out of anyone using it
