    Default Adapting spoolmate 100 on a 175

Yes I know this question have been posted many many times. I have posted a reply in this thread and I never obtain answer because this post is to old.

These are my questions about this fitting and shorting the spoolgun

In what kind of situation the spoolgun can be shorted? Is it very dangerous ( for the pc board? Is it possible to protect the board?

    Thank you

I don't know how you'd short it unless the drive or trigger wires came into contact with each other or the actual weld circuit, but that could happen on any spoolgun. Very unlikely at best.

Personally I've never ever seen that happen

I uderstand it is not very dangerous to break the pc board by a shortcut of the spoolgun.
