Does anybody out there use a skid for mounting their welder and bottles in the bed of a truck? I am doing alot of field work lately and want to build a skid until I get the time to build a work bed for my truck. Please show me your pictures of your set-ups and any advice you might have along with them.
Thanks, Jason

Check NavyGuy's recent post called "I'm Baccck..." at www.shopfloortalk.com.
He's got a nice skid that sits in his new F-350 with a Trailblazer 302 and bottles.
I don't want a skid because of the extra weight in my F-250. It's got the power, but every ounce I push, I have to brake, too. I'm still looking at options, while my rig is tied in with several ratchet-straps still.

Go to the miller motorsports "ask Andy" forum & do a search for welding rig pics. Lots of ideas especially look for "precisionworks" who has a skid for his truck.---MMW---
