It has its clean and pretty days.

And then there's this week, where there's been some cutting, grinding and welding happening.

I'm making a fence for my front yard.

Keep us posted with pictures of the fence. That looks like a good project. I have thought of trying something like that and I want to hear how it goes.Burt

How long are you making each section?

I'm planning on doing a full write-up before I start the actual installation. I've been taking pictures all along the way.
The sections are 8', with 1" (16ga) laterals and uprights and 5/8" pickets. But I also put in an extra support at the halfway point of each panel so the span (in terms of sag) is only 4'.
Here's a preview where I took a primed-and-painted section and propped it up on the retaining wall.
