In a pinch I have used card stock like is used on the back of a notepad. Simply roll it around the pipe size you want coped and tape on a bubble level to get it verticle. then mark part of it and cut then repeat until it has a nice flowing cut that matches. Then wrap it around the piece to be coped and draw around with a marker and cut with a sawzall with a fine tooth blade. I have also used a pipe wrap and they give several good templates that help.

These are the type I have used. I have 2 of the 4 sizes small and medium as I rather rarely need any bigger.
