IOC has some great customer service. Bill answers the phone 99% of the time. They go out of their way to save you money and keep you from buying things you don't need. I recently was about to spend $175 to solve a mig problem. I spoke with Bill and he suggested a fix that worked. Shipping is lightning fast and free over $30. A guy behind the counter at my LWS turned me on to them and I buy gas, hoods, filler, tungsten ,,etc from him for the good advice. IOC has a hotline straight to Miller support apparently cause I've gotten minor parts shipped from Miller within 48 hrs. 'Nuff said.

Not a thing wrong with that great race, but sometimes we get goofy leaders too.

me = German, French, Cherokee ...mongrel. I have no complaints if you don';t

    P.S.
I know they are not your goofy leaders, you share the same goofy leaders that I do.

Thumbs up IOC it top notch.

i think a lot of us are mut's now. not too many here that are 100% anything anymore. all that inbreeding ain't good for ya anyway, you taken a good look at some of the royal family photo's. a mut here and there is good for the breeding stock, get some new blood in there .
i will definitely give you a go for it to IOC. i got all my power supply's there, my TA-185 got to me without the cord retainer screw's. IOC shipped them out to me the same day i called them back about it, then it turned out the piece was striped out and i needed a new connector IOC got a hold of TA to have them ship me out a new foot controller or connector plug and at the same time gave me a direct 1-800 phone # so i could fallow up on it. turned out they just wanted to swoop out the hole foot controller. i just had to take it with me to a local service shop to have it verified as striped out not just me being stupid. they had the new foot controller there waiting for me. i had no down time at all just walked in and swooped it out, took 5 minuets.
IOC being an Internet dealer he could have just told me to take it to a local service shop to deal with it be he went the extra mile by getting it all arranged for me from his shop so i would have no problems. needless to say he has all my business i can send his way.

i think the contractors kit is a good answer for some one starting out not really knowing what he needs, or some one that needs it NOW!!!! for a job. like you said it sucks to think you have every thing only to find out you forgot something. but from a $$ standpoint its a bit high. i put together a hole cont. kit off e-bay with all new stuff for under $300.00 that was about 1 year ago when the SCS controllers were still $150.00 i think they went up to like $165.00 now, but still a great deal. and the SS one with the blue gripper pad is very cool looking, not to mention a great look for the DYN200.

i unforchenetly did not have good luck with B&R when i bought my BWE , but many have had good luck with him so it could have been a flook i got the poor treatment.??????? but just the same i went back to IOC after that and thats when i got my TA. i am verry glad i was with IOC when i had a problem. he made it a less painfull situation all around.
    thanks for the help
    ......or..........
    hope i helped

you should also have some extra din's concetors wich could be nice for making up an extra set of cables maybe a long set of stick so you could run them out to the drive way or soome thing???
be shore to mke shore the dins conector is tight on the cable inside. i had a problem with nice cuzz the ground was lose. so take a minuit and make shore every thing is good and tight, and recheck them every so often.

it did take me a wile to get my stuf rounded up on e-bay but at the time i did not have the welder yet so i was in no rush. much easyer to take your time finding the pices when you dont have the welder sitting there going "come play with me"
glad you have all the stuff to start playing now, good luck and post some pic's
    thanks for the help

yeah, when I got the machine, I had some cables made so I could stick. Come to find out, the ground one didn't "lock in". Made it snug and welded away (for a short time). I went to Gaspro a few days later, and he had an extra on "laying around". Fits good. Now, with the kit, it comes with a pair for stick. So now I have an extra set Just went to Gaspro and talked to someone else, they found some diffusers for 1/16 and my 1/32 rods...
then I had to paint all day, so no welding till next week..
