Pipe Slip fit for collers

Does anyone know what schedule 40 pipe size would be the best slip fit for collars to make hinges for gates to be hung on 2" schedule 40 pipe.

Also same for 3" schedule 40 pipe.

I use 2" sch80 outside & & 1-1/2" sch40 inside. It makes a good hinge.
