I picked up a metal cart at an auction and have been sitting in the garage for several months and just recently a plasma cutter off craigslist. So why not combine the Millermatic 135 and plasma onto one cart. The most significant changes, narrowed both trays by 4”, shortened the top tray by 10” and put it on a 10˚ angle. It did not turn out as well as I wanted but it is functional.
Things I learned:
My fab skills need lots of work.
My plasma cutting skills are primeval
My welding talent is as expected, weekend welder.
All n’ all, I had fun and can say I did it.

New Welding Cart
I think you did a great, serviceable job! A few minutes with a grinder and then wire brush, metal primer and finish coat and you won't be able to tell it from commercial!
What kind of Plasma cutter did you get? How much? What do you think of it?
I'm looking at the Thermal Dynamics Drag-Gun Plus but I'll have to save my pennies for a long while to get one. I would like to be able to cut whatever I can one-pass weld with my MM180.

It does look better painted.
Several pics loaded with the Millermatic 135 and the Thermo Dynamics Cutmaster 51 plasma.
I picked the plasma up from Craigslist for $500 and it was a 3 hour drive. But it's 4 years old and sold for over $1500 new so I think I got a pretty good deal. I'm eye balling a Miller Mig 210 for $800 to. Lots of bargines in the tools section.
