Think the heat got to the battery?
If it's a lithium-ion probably did! When they get to hot, they can blow out vents and emit an explosive gas. It
    smells like either.
They don't like heat and humidity at all.

May have enough juice to turn on, but when you hit play it goes uuhhh.
Would be same thing with any type of exhausted battery.

    Default I Found This...

    Metal Fabrication and Welding Show

    http://www.podcasternews.com/program...-welding-show/

Gonna see if there are any more....

PodcasterNews - Industry Report Sam Gentry American Welding Society

Gases and Welding Distributors Association -Choose Industry News

Podcast Show Notes archive at ArtMetal Radio - Podcasting the ...

Ok, there are a bunch more, but they are not a continuing weekly or monthly show.

They are individual podcasts of technical nature (Changes in Toughness at Low Oxygen Concentrations in Steel Weld Metals), or of an ad info nature (like 3m respirators).

You can find them with a google search of "welding podcast".
    http://www.google.com/search?q=weldi...n&start=0&sa=N

    P.S.
For James and others that may not know.
You don't need an ipod to play podcast.
You can play them on your computator...
Just download them and play with a software player.

    lol ain't that the truth?

James, it looks like for now all you are trying to do is get CD's to this player? If that's all, it's pretty easy, there are a couple programs I use to rip them, are free and pretty easy to use. I'm not a big fan of Microsloth, and with their DRM even less so, so I would use a freeware version to rip them. You can even start the process before you get the player, make a library of your music on MP3's, so when you get the player all you have to do is DL them. All it takes is time, of course

One I use is Exact Audio Copy, http://www.digital-world.de/download...rnational.html and you also need to get LAME for the program to work http://rarewares.poskolio.com/lame3.98b4.zip

Feel free to PM me, I'll give you a hand getting started if you like.

naaa, not likely but i think you need a 7 year old that is alowed to have that stuff or has a set of parents with the $$ to get it for him.
my 8 year old dosent even have his own cell phone or computer, yea i know child abuse, i plead poverty and throw myself on the mercy of the corts.
the problem with up-to-date info is its expensive. what i realy need is about 5 year old info, it should be old enough i can aford it then.

    Default Sounds Good.

Thats what I was going to suggest.
    Look at the links.

Download those programs, They don't cost nothing!

Play with them, as you can do a bunch, before purchase of player.

You can create a folder for music that you want to put on player, and fill it with your selections (recommended)

    Here.
