Thank you all for the great advice. I'll get the fit closer, start the puddle on the thicker metal then flow into the FEM, use 7018's and/or washers, and take a look at the stitch machine. I'm using a clarke131e ac arc welder, its ok for a small buzz box. A HH140 or Millermatic and a chop saw are next on my list. Now some FEM table shelves should be appearing in my garage...
