wire welding
the wire that we use in the feild is no bigger than 5/32 and that is
NR-211mp lincoln wire
the other wire we use is NR-232 and that wire is .072
and the last one we fall back on is the good old 7018
1/8 inch is the all out weld in any spot
the wire you have sounds like ship yard welding that is where i
have seen wire that size

I think you mean 3/32" wire, and that'd be mighty hot and fast! Sorry, I've only run an E71T-1 1/16" wire in the vertical position, and on 1/4" plate I think I'd have troubles knowing where to set the machine to avoid meltdown. I've only run 3/32" flux core in flat and horizontal positions.
