In a couple of those pictures it looked like the collector flange was going to hang up on the dolly, did it hit or just looked close?
What kind of a car?
I have a dolly that steers itself. The tires are connected to each other with a tie rod that has a steering stabilizer (basically a shock) attached to the frame. When it's empty you drop a pin in a bracket attached to one of the wheels so it tracks straight. Works pretty good... until you hit a snow or gravel ridge!!! In those conditions you just pin it and take wide turns... I mean pin the dolly not the tow vehicle!!!

Hi where do you buy those types of dollys or did you make it?

Yes the header sat right on that cross beam.
My other topic was how to build a lower dolly so I could avoid this. I had to move the car about 6km so I waited till early morning and added some wood planks under the tires which raised the car up about a 2". Unfortunately then the tires are sitting up out of those wheel buckets and only being held by the nets
That's why I waited till early moring and drove really slow.
It's a Honda civic here is a picLast edited by MrBurns; 07-26-2010 at 03:50 PM.
