It's always sad to hear about the loss of any competitor in motorsports. My thoughts go out to the Kalitta family and to the rest of the racing community that will miss him as well.

It was indeed a difficult end to an otherwise OK weekend for me. The mood there changed in an instant. I will keep the Kalitta family in my thoughts tonight, and I gave my son an extra hug and kiss before bed.
