I have an 84 Chevy truck that I'm restoring. What filler rod would be a good choice for this project? I will be using TIG & MIG. for different applications.

just a gearhead, in the process of restorting my 70's chevelle, I found with pannel repair that everdur is best for tig wielding. It is a high silicon bronze rod, great for pannel repair, flows well, and grinds nicely. Don't use it on anything structural like frames, etc. On my mig wielder, I'm using and ER70S-6 mild steel .023 wire, which seems to work real well. So defenitly try using everdur for the tig. I've had great results.
Good luck with the restoration.
