Aluminum Brazing, Not Soldering!
It's nice for A/C service. I do both silver soldering and aluminum brazing at 600 degrees and 1100 degress. Then, I pressure test to 350lbs. of pressure for leaks.

What do you use to get 350 psi for testing?

Old school vs. New school
These days, with the advent of R-410a (Puron), pressure tests are 500psig minimum. The only thing preventing higher pressure tests is the relatively unavailable regulators of higher pressure ranges. Originally Posted by lanceman73
