Vintage race fans.

The annual Vintage Grad Prix in Pittsburgh PA is coming up soon. They have lots of activity's all month long during July. Races at Beaver raceway and a fantastic vintage car show at Shenley park where the Grand Prix is run. Its the only race of its kind run on city streets. Its a really great time for those of you who might be able to make it.

Thanks for the post. I love vintage races. I used to go to Laguna Seca every year when I was a young lad. I haven't been there in over 20 years, but there is a vintage event on Coronado island that I try to make every year. It's not a very big production, but there are usually some cool cars there.

Now if I could just get my '74 BMW back on the road... maybe next week.

Just thought I would bring this back up since the race is this weekend. Seems like the weather should be good for it.

Wish it was closer. 5-6 hr drive for me. Looks like a lot of fun.

It was a lot of fun. Unfortunately I forgot my camera on race day but here is some pics of pre WW1 cars lined up for time trials the day before.
