    there are some very thin rubber stickons that I use a lot on the bottom of metal vases. also, some clear ones. cat

    If you really want to cover each section, you could use adhesive floor tile singles, cut to fit. My wife had all of our bottom cabinets lined with these.
    Sure works great.
