Thought you folks might like to see a trailer I designed and built to load motorcycles and other heavy items from a flat position to a raised over the road position.

A simple hand winch and cables operate the whole mechanism. A set of 1/2" locking pins hold the whole trailer together while moving over the road. This trailer went to California and back........

Very nice, how is the pivot point made in the back ? I would be concerned about too much wobble where the bed of the trailer fits between the frame or isn't this an issue ? I'm looking to build a motorcycle trailer for my bike but I think Im going build it low and just tailgate it on. Eventually I want to build one to pull behind the bike as well.

When the drop part mates with the main frame, it all locks together with a series of pins with clevis pins. Solid as a rock when all locked together.
The rear pivot point is hinged on 1" pivots. Once the trailer is in the travel position, the pivot point handles no weight.
The best part about it is the comments I get when folks see it in use!
