I was wondering if anyone can tell me more about Mainstream cable reels? On the cable thread, Wicked mentioned them and if they don't ice up I'd like to know more. My Shel-ryn's are good but I keep my cables wound tight and icing has been a problem more than once. Any knowledge is as always appreciated.

Thanks Jef. I'll call him in the morning and check it out. HMW, warmer isn't a half bad idea.

Hawai bound
Somebody mentioned $1500 a month rent though. Not so nice. Had you mentioned this around January when it was 45 below.... well, fancy drinks on the beach would have sounded just fine.

THAT'S FUNNY!! I almost woke up the neighbors laughing at that! Theres alot of discussion on the ask andy site about cable reels, check out the threads about welding rigs in particular. Alot of the pipe line guys from canada also like to talk about cable reals and wich ones don't ice up.
