    Nice. How do you support the gate at the hinge when it is down!

    Trailer looks good, was also wondering about how you made your hinges and your latches for your tailgate? Also your cherry picker did you make it also if so could we see another photo or two of it?

    The first part of the gate is held by chains, like a truck tailgate. And the second part just tilts at the hinge to the pavement.

    The hinges are 3/4 bar drilled through the center with a 3/8 bolt through the center. 3 sections for each hinge, 2 welded to the main gate, center welded to the second gate. 8 hinges total. Had to grind a small clearance for the hinge not to rub on each gate. Works great, my Valkyrie interstate weighs 940 lbs, and my 200 lbs on it, the gate does not even flex when loading it.
