True story. A couple of months ago I was at the local independant welding supply and was talking to buddy in there about a rust-oration job I might have coming up, and mentioned to him about getting some rust rod to work with so I didn't have to change the bad metal. The girl behind the counter was trying to fill the order I had already given her. I wasn't really paying attention to what she was doing, after a few minutes of her looking through catalogs, she says "I'm sorry sir, but we don't seem to carry rust rods here" and I might want to check with Prax-air or Air Products to see if they carry them. It was really hard to control the laughter. Dave
P.S. It's not my fault I don't Carry rust rods either, I just can't seem to get them locally. If necessity is the Mother of Invention, I must be the Father of Desperation!

I did not replace the hubs as there was nothing wrong with them other than some surface pitting. I didn't feel there was any justification in just racking up these peoples bill for cosmetic reasons. The bearings, races and seals were all changed and repacked, and I changed the wheel studs as well . This should outlast the couple the repair was made for.
