I have a Miller 330ST Aircrafter and am experiencing high frequency problems. The high frequency works perfectly when set to continuos but will not work on start. I have checked the switch (continuos, start, off) and it is good. Does anyone have suggestions on what the problem may be or what to check next? Thanks!

I have heard of HF problems being caused by contaminated torch coolant.
AutoArc 230 (MM 210)
3035 spoolgun
Spectrum 625
Dialarc HF w/Coolmate 4

Check CR1 relay. It is for HF start only, it pulls in with ocv and drops out after the arc is struck. CR1 is the only thing different between HF start and HF cont.

Thanks! I will check this out, but still don't understand why it would affect only the HF start mode and not the continuos mode.
