Trying to see if my gen set will work with the MM251 & the 30A spoolgun. Here are the gen specs. 12.9 kw , Vol reg AVR , Frequency reg 3-5% , Vol reg 1% , 4 pole , 107 & 53.7 amps. I will be using this on my boat welding .250 aluminum plate.

Generator output....
Hey Kevin,
Yes, your generator has sufficient output to run your welder. If you are only welding .250", you won't be using the total input current your welder would use at max, and even if you were running at max, you have enough current output from your gen.. Go for it.....Denny
