I have a Dewalt Chop saw I picked up the other day used and it is missing the vise.....guy said he thinks he has it....after doing some looking seems like the quick lock threads of the DW871 were bad for breaking......wonder what happened to this one.....so I was wondering if anyone had one / had a source for the parts....every where I'v looked they want $49.00 for one.....I could buy a HF saw for that and remove the vise.....
Thanks,
Mike

chopsaw vise
I have 2 old milwaukee chop saws,1 with broken handle and 1 with broken motor case if either one of these will work for you send me an address and I will mail the vise part from it to you. I've been saving them for parts. Dave

Never try to make a angle cut on a metal chop saw without clamping does the metal. You can get seriously hurt. Seen it happen.
Metal must be clamped down.
