Simple welding stand updated pic's
Here are some add on's for the stand. A grinder and mig gun holder. Plus a drink stand for break time.

Is it advisable to hang your mig gun from the nozzle like that? I am new to this and just wondered if it is heavy duty enough to withstand daily storage like that.

I only do it when using the stand. Miller makes a holder about like it for the side of the welders. It used to get dropped about 50 times a day when laying it on the bench. I don't store it by the neck, i drape it over a special made pipe so i don't kink the liner. But thats a good point...Bob
