    Spool gun for mig alum<br />
    Plug dynasty in for Tig <br />
    Best way to go. And then u hv dynasty for shop work if need, cant beat that either.

    I have both but agree with MMW could never master thumb control. Hardly ever use. <br />
    Foot control 99% of time. <br />
    If I could only have one would be hands down foot.

    Yep I agree I'd trade. Also ranger 8 makes pretty good generator. Backup power for shop or home. Also gives ability for field work if need to.

    Worked in auto truck world for many years. Managed both mechanic & autobody for many years. Been self employed for 10 years now. Metal is in my DNA so what I do now is by far what I love most. Being self employed is tough to say the least but as for me I've been to far in life to work for business...

    Bought used Dynasty 5 years ago awesome machine. Newer been one problem with it. <br />
    Pick it up with one hand. Plug into 110 or 220. Also can't believe the output on 110, can weld a lot in remote locations with only 110 available. <br />...
