Besides your LWS you can get parts online at Miller4less. Good prices, fast shipping & original Miller parts.

Bottle is on? Regulator is turned up to 20cfh +/- ? When you pull the trigger do you hear the solenoid clicking? If not then check to see if you have power to it. Be very careful when the covers are off & it is plugged in. If you are not comfortable with that then get someone who is.

Another oddity I just found. When coming on this morning I went to the forum page to see if there are any new posts. In the welding discussions link it shows the latest post to be from by louisnguyen at 03:27am today. I go into welding discussions & there is no new posts to be found? Scrolled...

I thought the slowness was on my end but some others are saying it as well. So what was the reason behind the change? Inquiring minds want to know. Hope it wasn't just for the sake of change....

Polarity as said above. You did not say what you are welding? Mild steel I assume? How thick? Is metal prepped & clean? If sheet metal then you may be kind of burning through & sucking contaminants in from the back side. Are you trying to fill a large gap? Same issue. Are you pulsing...

  • I am far from an expert on this but if it was mine or a customers then I would redo them. That is not to say that they will fail but rather the unknown of if they will hold up or not. You guys are building a complete car so why let a small item pass that you are unsure of?

    Assuming all...

I know there have been some suggestions but is there anything specific you want fixed or changed?

    1) I would like to see at the top of each page a quick link to go directly to the other sub forums. It used to be there but not on this new version. Now I need to click on "forums"...

While not the best 75/25 will work. It will reduce the corrosion resistance slightly. Over the years many stainless things have been welded with 75/25 & the world did not end. Is it perfect, correct? No but it will hold together. Whether you do the job or not that is up you.

    I...

I have the offshore one like you posted. Mine is labeled "Realgear" & purchased at my LWS on sale for $79 or $99? I have had it for maybe 10 years & it has done everything they say it will do. Seems to be good quality. I would recommend it. Sorry I have no info on the exact one...
