  2. Thumbs up Sticky Thread Sticky: Dynasty Processes-Set Up

It has been requested by a few people to have a dedicated INVERTER thread and stick it. This will be a thread mainly for Dynasty machines with their multi set up features. Diversions, while Inverters, are pretty basic and don't really belong in this group. This thread is for specific questions...

  1. Go to first new post SA-200 Another story asking for help

I never cared about anything that had Lincoln on the side until after reading this forum. Then after reading about SA-200 I became interested in them. My friend has one in the barn, I asked if he wanted to sell it. That's as far as we are so far. I did stop and look at it close just now, the...

Hello everyone sorry to bother you with my lack of skills but I need help :D. I have a millermatic 140 with a 100 series spoolgun. I am using 100% argon and I can not get a good weld on aluminum. 3. Someone said I would end up with a garage full of weight equipment.

The more I think about it the more frustrated and upset I get about it. I am a good person, a good father, and don't look to hurt someone else. Someone said I would end up with a garage full of weight equipment on another post I made to this board (you know who you are). I am so sad that this...

  4. Loader

This is next on my list, anyone have one? Has a 371 Det in it. I have seen some in dealer advertisements that have forks, I will likely have to scrounge up a set at the salvage yard.

  5. Weld alert! Warning to the pipepro 304 guys

After 3 blown engines due to overheat might be a good idea to check the coolant sensor wire on the thermostat housing. It pulls off, the engine can't shut down and you overheat, presto a blown engine, cracked head and/or an exploded rad. Whats happening as far as I can tell is that the harness...

  7. Talking I'm in the wrong business

Last night young son called and asked if I knew someone who could/would straighten up their brick mailbox. The HOA has been giving them fits because it's leaning. On my truck bed I have trailer hitch receivers in the corners for holding benders, vises, welding aids, etc and so on. I put a two...

  8. ER70S2 Vs ER70S6 Tig Filler

I weld up machine parts for the inside of Winchester traps. I have been using ER70S2 and the wear factor on the sharp corners, I build up and after machining have lasted 6 - 8 years. My welding supply store tried to sell me ER70S6, saying it had more silicon and would flow better???? My...

  10. Question Big Blue Air Pak

Some of the Big Blue Air Paks have a 25amp breaker and others have 50amp on the plug for running accessories as a plasma. I want to run a Miller 350P. Will the 25amp breaker run it? How difficult is it to change the 25a to 50a breaker?

  14. So how difficult is it?

I'm starting this thread to learn something that I have wondered about for some time now. Couple posts in reggie's thread really got me to thinking about it again. Sberry's comment about doing the same thing over and over you're going to get good at it. Then sae 350 post on all the different types...

  17. What amp breaker/circuit for Dialarc 310HF

I have recently bought a Dialarc 310HF from a member of this board and want to ask everyone a question on circuit size. I have seen in some of the posts that some members have run their Dialarc 31 successfully on a 50 amp plug on a 50 amp circuit. Is this possible? I want to keep costs down on...

  18. Cupped 3/8" plate for my welding table... best approach from here?

Hi all, I searched the forums and most of what I found doesn't exactly cover my situation... I made a welding table base... added casters... I bought 2 pieces of 3/8" plate... (thinking I could move them by myself.) The table is 36" x 60" so I had them cut the plates at 31"x36", so I can have a...

  19. Credit Cards

How many of you who have your own welding businesses take credit cards? I have yet to have a request in the last year and a half and this week two decent size jobs both asked to pay that way, I was not about to loose the business. What means are you using to accept cards? Are you charging the...
