  • Oxygen/Acetylene torch tips?

    Gentlemen;
    I have an old Marquette Super Jet torch set. I purchased it new 30 years or so ago. I need a couple of new cutting tips for it.
    Anybody know where I might locate them to purchase?
    I have searched the web and nothing comes up.
    Thanks;
    Copperdog

    CD,
    Goss Manufacturing makes replacement tips for a lot of the older torches. Very good quality and they are made in the USA!!

      They list them, and have in stock, but won't sell direct.
      They gave me a distributor with no phone number, only e-mail.
      I sent them a note, see how long it takes to respond.
      Next year they will be out of business and wonder why, I bet they will blame it on foreign competition!

        CD,
        I knew they didnt sell direct. I usually buy them from the local Airgas. Any welding shop can get them. Goss has always been really good to me, but not selling direct can be a pain. Hope you can find a local retailer!

            If your local welding supply doesn't handle Goss tips, ask them if the have American Torch Tip tips.

            http://www.americantorchtip.com/

            If they don't have either, find a new distributor.
