• brought me home a new toy....

Joe, you may have to come help me put all the parts of this puzzle together...

    13" swing
    48" bed

Taper attachment, 3 & 4 jaw chucks, quick change gear box and a whole bunch of other stuff that I have no idea what it does.

Missing a few parts, but over all, I got it for a steal of a deal.

So you machining types, I might be needing some help here pretty quick.

Ya, SB 13". I know for sure it's missing the lead screw for the compound and the tail stock. Also missing the belt cover. The paint is actually pretty good. It has been almost completely disassembled because the guy was going to restore it, then he got his hands on a 9" that was already restored.

A previous owner made a running gear for it with super skookum metal casters and adjustable feet. He did a REALLY nice job building it too, whoever did it.

I have no idea how some of the parts go on, but I may as well rebuild it while it's apart. The quick change gearbox and apron are off, so I'll have to see how all that works. I also haven't unwrapped either of the chucks, so I have no idea of their condition.

Should be fun. Lathe fixing party in my shop, free pizza and beer....
