  • My Wood Processing setup

I acquired an old, super heavy, 3 pt hitch log splitter a few years ago. It only could be operated from the hydraulic lever on the tractor. I modified it by adding an axle, spool valves for the hydraulics, a retractable tongue so I can haul the thing with my 'Buzz Saw' attached. At first I had no log lift, but added that last year. The buzz saw was completely redone. Installed the safety guard around the blade, added a right angle gear box, pto shaft (was originally driven with a flat belt, then a small engine was added), beefed up the frame, etc. Thing works great.Name: 3acdf9ca2b67274af2fee20f7ba0b1ac.jpg
