          Nice pics, Scott, Chuck

Flash destroys pretty much any picture with unique lighting. I'd like to get 'round to making some welding pics.

The best advice I would give after seeing this picture is someone should be wearing some kind of a hat to keep their hair from catching on fire. It's amazing where those sparks will go and also how they find the smallest holes in shoes. The last time my hair caught on fire, pipe fitters had to put the fire out with a fire hose and I was wearing a helmet at that time but in a really bad position. Hey! Those sparks have to go somewhere.

First pic is of me gouging of a backing strip.
Second pic is of a student gouging of a backing strip when I was still in school.
Third pic is of me just messing aroun with the air arc gouging scrap metal.
The fourth, fifth and sixth pic are of me welding a tool rack for my dads 1 ton with the oxy accetylene after running out of gas for the wire feed.
