  • Dirt Bike Levers

If you drop a dirt bike the wrong way it can become expensive, grips, handle bars, plastics and levers.
The clutch and front brake levers become bent and useable.
    The levers are cast ali.
We heat them and then gently coach them back into position.
I don't recommend using a vise for this as last time I tried that it broke the vise.
I now place the lever in a press after it has been heated.

          Hi Bob,
Yes when learning is when levers are at their most risk.

            Hi Goodhand,
That one looks past it but you never know.
Try some heat and some force.

              Hi 1930case,
Barkbusters do help but they cost a bit and also get bent.

keeping the perch somewhat loose can let the lever rotate on the bars in a crash.
